Beginnings of Strange Things

Year 2040 and the world is nothing like everyone thought the future would be, hot, sweltering, heat drying up the water and full of danger. Earth became as one of the dusty planets that we were taught as children in school, like Jupiter. It’s being said that there is water somewhere but no one knows where it is. Earth did go robotic for a while but humans found that it was just as much money and dangerous to keep the robots around than what they expected.

Hi, my name is Susan Chatham and I am a survivor of the early 2000’s. I’ve seen from where we were to the hell that we are in now. Yes, we still have freedom but what good is it when there are no restrictions? We’re free to kill, to steal, to commit all sorts of heinous crimes without any conscience or judgment. We are free to live in fear, to live in captivity, free to go insane. I’ve come to the point where I no longer want freedom.

A few of us (about five hundred) have built a small little city underground and only go out when we have to. It’s important that we keep the city a secret because something is happening out there…something elusive, can’t be explained. I thought it was a lie until I saw one with my own eyes. I couldn’t believe it! There stood in front of me, a seven-foot, natural colored-wrinkled, dog-eared, innocent-human looking creature with long skinny fingers and feet to match, big blue eyes and fangs for teeth. Everything in me said to run but I couldn’t. I was stuck as if cement glue was on my feet. I was so scared that any water left in my body leaked out. It didn’t growl or attack. It was like it was seeing me for the first time too. The thing looked harmless but I don’t know where it came from. It’s still a mystery.

We have been underground for quite some time so we aren’t sure what is going on out there. At night it is so quiet, not a sound, peaceful but at the first break of morning is when we began to hear cries from beyond, stomping upon the ground, growling, human screams…then sudden silence. One didn’t have to figure out long what had happened. The best time to move is at night but it’s hard being that the moon doesn’t shine as bright.

We’re expanding the underground city because we found that working underground is the best way to find this water. We can’t go out in the day time because those things are out there and we’re limited at night because of the lack of light.

Conroy is the head security officer of the city, like a sheriff. He protects us. He knows more about those things out there than anyone else but doesn’t talk about it much. Conroy stays to himself and won’t give us any information about the outside. He protects and nothing more. Then there is Vincent, his sidekick. He is like a loose cannon and drunk with power. The trust factor is questionable when it comes to him. Personally, I wouldn’t trust him to protect my pinky toe but Conroy tries to convince us that he’s an alright guy and to trust him. We are trying but he is pushing it. I have to admit though, he gets the job done and that’s the only reason why he is still in charge. Tracey is the spiritual person. I was raised by her. I love Tracey. She’s like a mother to me. She prays for our safety and for God to help lead us in building the city and finding this water. She honestly and sincerely leads us well. She has people to help her and doesn’t try to do it all on her own. Tracey is humble that way. Then there’s Buck who fixes the pluming and electrical problems. You would think with the scarcity of food that he would be skinny right? Wrong! He’s just as big as he was when we first started out. In my opinion, he’s hoarding food while all of us are starving because there is no way someone who is starving walks around all jolly and happy. Buck is a sweetheart though. He makes us all laugh and smile, even in the worst of times. Lastly, I am the reporter. I give an account of everything that happens. Right now, this is my video and letter to let those left behind to know what is going on, what we did to build this city and our quest for water, in the case we don’t make it. Those are the main people of the city. We all work together to build, cook and manage the city the best way we can.

Today, I’m recording some of the citizens to get what their thoughts are on what is going on in our world.

“I told them that aliens were real! I-TOLD-THEM!!!” said the town’s crazy citizen Henrietta.

“Don’t listen to that old hag. It has nothing to do with aliens. It’s God. People didn’t believe it but He said it would happen,” old man Wally said.

“It’s none of that. I bet the government had something to do with this,” said David.

“I guess that is enough interviews for today,” I said into the video camera.

I chose the wrong ones to talk to, guess I will have to examine folks to speak with so I can get some intelligent views. Tonight I’m going to go outside the city to record what it’s like. Conroy is sending Vincent with me. Getting ready to leave, Vincent is hyped up on adrenaline, walks up behind me and says, “Hey suga, are you ready for wild night?”

“Get off of me! You make me sick!” I said.

“How do you stay looking as good as you do after all these years…sexxxy,” he said.

“By staying away from people like you,” I replied.

“You know you like it,” he said.

“I loathe you. May we go? Can you do that?” I said.

“It’s already done sweetheart. Why do you treat me so bad?” he asked.

“Treat you like what?” I retorted.

“Like you don’t want me when it’s obvious that you do,” he said.

“What is obvious…is that you don’t have a clue. If I wanted you, you would know it,” I said as I mockingly rubbed my body up against his.

As he breathed heavily in my face he said, “Is that what that passionate kiss meant a few days ago?”

“THAT was a mistake! Don’t bring it up again. This conversation is over. Let’s go,” I said as I snatched everything I was carrying with me.

On our way out, we saw Conroy. “Are you guys ready?” he asked.

“Yeap,” I said.

“Oh, yeah,” Vincent replied.

“Ya’ll be careful out there. Don’t do anything stupid,” Conroy directed.

“I got it boss,” Vincent said.

“Susan, I’m sending my best man with you. Stay close to him and follow his directions. DO NOT DEVIATE…understood,” Conroy said.

“Understood,” I answered.

Vincent and I were on our way. It takes a few minutes to get to the outside because we have three levels in the event of a security breach. There is a secret place that no one knows about just in case someone or thing penetrates our barriers on the first two levels. The secret place is our last resort. Right before we reached the door, Tracey walked up to me and said, “Child, be careful who you trust. The journey that you are about to go on is a path of truth. Your destiny will be revealed.”

“A path? My destiny? What are you talking about Tracey?” I asked.

“Hear what I say. When you are in trouble put this on your belly and pray to God and He will protect you,” she said as she firmly pressed this blue-crystal like jewel in my hand.

“Ok,” I said as we said goodbye.

Once we reached the doors to the outside, my heart began to pound, my breathing was as heavy as a hurricane sweeping through a town, weakness was taking control of my body and my mind was racing with a thousand thoughts. Vincent looked as confident as ever. There wasn’t a scared bone in his body; maybe because he’s gone out plenty of times before. Truth be told, I kind of admire that but he is altogether arrogant and that turns me off completely.

He opened the door softly and carefully. I was on him like a fly on trash as we crept out of the door. I hadn’t been out in so long the sudden heat almost took my breath away. It felt as if we were on another planet. The air wasn’t conducive to the air humans usually breathe. If I never stepped foot on planet earth again it would be too soon.

Apparently there is a certain path that Vincent knows of, the in’s and out’s of the town. I feel like a fish out of water and that’s strange being the fact that this use to be home to me. As I looked out among the trees, I could see those things laying everywhere asleep, dead bodies ripped to shreds, heads over here, legs over there, eyeballs on the left and earlobes on the right, dried blood on the withered tree stumps. I vomited right by Vincent’s foot. He looked back at me and said, “Keep that quiet,” he whispered, “Man up,” he finished. If I had anymore vomit left in me I would have finished on him. Something tells me this is going to be a long night.

“Vincent, it’s hard to videotape between these trees. Do you have a flashlight?” I asked.

“We can’t use a flashlight because light wakes them up,” he answered.

“Well how am I supposed to film this if I can’t see?” I asked becoming annoyed at why Conroy wanted me to do this in the first place.

“Look, I don’t know and don’t care. We are not using a light,” he said.

Vincent continued to take me down a path but little does he know I have a light on my camcorder and turned it on. I don’t care what he says. It makes no sense to have me out here filming if I can’t see anything. While we’re walking, I’m filming the grossness of what earth has become; I stepped on a twig, making a wrestling noise. Vincent quickly looked back with a pissed off look on his face. Suddenly, we heard a big rumbling. Vincent snatched the camera out of the grasp of my hands and turned off the light. I looked at him and sneered, “What are you doing!” Next thing I know, Vincent pulled out his gun and shot it right over my head. “Oh, you shootin’ at me now!” I said. He didn’t respond. All Vincent did was grab my arm and pull me to him. There was one of those things right behind me. Vincent kept shooting this gun that spewed out a blue-light ray and it was quiet but it lit up the sky whenever you shoot it. We started running through all the trees. We would have to duck so the dried branches wouldn’t hit us in the face. We ran for what seemed forever. I decided to look back…and what did I do that for? Instead of one now there was what seemed like a tribe pursuing us.

“I’ve got to get this on tape!” I said running behind Vincent.

“Are you crazy? That’s what got us into this trouble in the first place,” Vincent said.

“This is what I’m out here for, right?” I said.

“Shut up and run. This way,” he said as we made a sharp left turn and hid behind some rocks.

Both of us were tired and out of breath but we couldn’t breath hard or else those things would hear us. I figured since we were taking a breather, I could film them running pass us. It was great! I was getting some awesome footage. Then Vincent whispered in my ear some directions, “From here, we are going to have to crawl to the cave that’s over there. Do you see it?” I shook my head yes and he gestured for me to come. It was very dark where we were going. There is no way that those things could see us. We moved matrix slow towards the cave. After going about six feet, hidden by bushes and the darkness of night, we finally made it to the cave. We could hear the things moving throughout the town with their colossal feet and loud noises they were making being irritated that they couldn’t find us.

In the cave, Vincent said, “Have you lost your mind! Do you know what you could have done?”

“I’m sorry. I was just trying to get what I was coming out here for,” I said.

“Look if you want to keep going then there are some rules you are going to have to follow. One, no lights, not even the one on the camera. You are just going to have to find another way. Two, if we are in danger, the videotape goes up. I’m not going to lose my life for your stupidity and three, if you are going to send me through all of this, then you might as well make it worth my time,” he said.

It was then I gave Vincent a deep long kiss. It had to be from all the adrenaline that was running through me. We screwed right there in the cave.

After a couple of hours, Vincent and I noticed that it was quiet once again. We put back on our clothes and began to head out of the cave until we heard a piercing sound. It was a creature of some sort…never seen it before howbeit, whatever the creature is, it was not happy to see us. It was hard to see but we knew it was four times bigger than we were because we could feel its nostrils breathing on us. I screamed. Then Vincent went on a shooting rampage. We had to go deeper in the cave. The noise woke up those other things too. Instantly, we started to hear the footsteps of the things again. The four-legged creature is chasing us throughout the cave. We are having to bob and weave our way from one end of the cave to the next. As the creature is moving briskly throughout, his tail is swinging from side to side destroying the rocks within its path causing part of the cave to collapse. On top of that, it sounds like those things have made it into the cave. As Vincent is shooting and me running,  one of the rocks that were falling, knocked me down paralyzing me. The creature is getting closer and the monsters are too. Vincent is trying to get me up but I have lost all feeling from my waist down. “Take this gun and shoot!” he yelled. The tension is growing higher and higher. The creatures are vastly approaching while rocks are continuing to fall. Vincent gave me his gun and I shot at them but didn’t touch not a one. “You need to aim and shoot or we’re dead!” Vincent yelled.

“I know! I’m trying!” I yelled back scared. I aimed and shot the creature five times right between the eyes. It gave Vincent plenty enough time to get that rock off of me, pick me up and moved throughout the cave. He had to be smart about where he ran because he was carrying me and couldn’t run as fast as usual.

Out of the blue, we heard extra shots. We didn’t know where it was coming from. Whoever it was, shot their way through and obviously with a bigger weapon that what we had. Vincent and I stopped in our tracks to see who it was. As we impatiently paused, the shooter was revealed. It was Buck, the plummer.

After he blasted his way through, Vincent said, “Man, are we glad to see you.”

“We don’t have much time,” Buck said, “There are more coming,” he finished.

“We have one problem,” Vincent said.

“What’s that?” Buck asked.

“A rock fell on Susan and now she can’t feel her legs,” Vincent said.

“Well, we are going to have to figure out something because we don’t have a lot of time,” Buck insisted.

“Susan, what about that crystal that Tracey gave you?” Vincent asked.

“Crystal?” Buck asked.

I looked at the crystal that hung from my neck, took it off, put it on my stomach and said a small prayer. The crystal, from the inside moved like water flowing from a river. It didn’t help me to walk but it did imprint a place within my mind that I will remember. I knew instantly what I’m supposed to do and how to help Buck and Vincent. However, there was one more question that I had to ask, “Buck, how did you know where we were?”

“All of the guns have tracking devices so when one of them are used a red light goes off in the office and Vincent was shooting a lot so I knew there was trouble,” Buck said.

“Where is Conroy?” Vincent asked.

“Nobody knows. I went to look for him when I saw the button go off but he was no where to be found,” Buck said.

“That’s weird. He’s supposed to be protecting the city,” I said.

Time was drawing nigh, so we got on the good-foot. The crystal lit up to lead us in the right direction. It led us to a beautiful river but it also led to someone else. While we were excited about the water and playing in it, I saw something out of the corner of my eye. It was one of those things which quickly snatched up Buck and ripped him in two. It was then that I found strength in my legs to back up but I backed up into Conroy.

“Conroy! What are you doing here?” I asked in a panic.

“Surprised?” he asked as he gladly watched the thing feast on Buck.

“Kind of,” I responded.

Vincent came over to where we were and said, “Man! What is going on?”

Conroy snatched any protection that Vincent had on him and left him defenseless. The thing came for me next, grabbed me with his long hands but would not harm me.

“Vincent! Help me!” I cried.

“Don’t worry Susan, I will,” he bravely answered.

“He won’t be doing anything of the sort,” Conroy said as another thing came from behind him and snatched up Vincent, killing him instantly.

“Vincent! Noooo!” I cried some more.

“Don’t worry about him darling. You will be joining him soon,” Conroy said.

“I don’t understand Conroy. Why are you doing this?” I asked hysterically.

He directed for the thing to put me down and it did then walked towards me saying, “I used to work for the government. They created a disease to interject into people to decrease population because the economy had gotten so bad but the disease had an adverse effect on some humans. Instead of killing them, it turned them into these creatures. They tried to combat it with an airborne disease which killed our atmosphere. They injected your mom while she was pregnant with you. It was supposed to kill both of you but it didn’t. Your father was a doctor and he cut open your mother and took you and put you in a metrobolic freezer that caused you to continue to grow as a normal baby would but kept you safe at the same time. That blue crystal was part of that freezer. Over time, you and the crystal became one. Only one person knew where you were and she raised you. Either way it goes, when it was time, you were born. What you so stupidly call a birth mark on your stomach is the imprint of the crystal. The crystal is the only thing separating us from the old way of life. I am tired of living underground and the way of savages. I was a general in the United States army and I’m not supposed to be living like this…anyway, have you wondered why you haven’t aged like everyone else, how come you stayed so young?” he asked.

“Of course I have. I mean everyone else is getting older but I seem to be staying twenty. I had questions but there wasn’t anyone to give me an answer,” I said trying to find a way out.

“The imprint, kept you young and the crystal would lead me to a new life…the life I knew before. I figured someone had to have the crystal. It had to be near because it couldn’t be far from you in order to keep you young. The person had to be brought out so I sent you out on a bogus journey. I knew they wouldn’t allow you to leave without speaking with you.”

“What did you do to Tracey?” I said.

“Oh, don’t worry. She’s okay. If I were you, I would be worried about myself right now,” he said. I was so mad, I stood to my feet. “I’d suggest you sit down. I don’t have nothing to lose! I lost everything…my wife, both of my sons and I can never bring them back. I’m going to try my hardest to salvage something of this mess,” he said shaking his gun as tears streamed down his eyes.

This is my chance to break free. I grabbed my crystal and yelled, “God! Help me please! I need you!” Then suddenly, the ground began to shake, rocks started to fall and I ran towards Conroy and began wrestling him for the gun. We rolled back and forth then a shot went off. I clinched as we stared each other in the face. Then a burning started to shoot through my body. Immediately, I coughed up blood. Conroy stared me right in the face, smiled and whispered, “I win.”

My eyes closed, then I heard a voice say, “It’s not done. Roll towards the water.”

I followed the instructions. The pain was so excruciating that I didn’t want to hardly move. Just as I was at the tip of the river, I stopped. I couldn’t move anymore. Then Conroy was trying to get rid of my body threw me into the river. I started to sink and as went down, the water healed my wound. Unbeknown to him, I came out the water grabbed the gun and shot him in the back of the head and neck. I sat in the cave and cried. Tracey showed up at the river bleeding profusely. I took her to the water and she told me that I was the guardian of this water and it is to heal the people and the land. The reason that the thing didn’t attack me when I first saw one was because it knew I was connected to the source but couldn’t speak to tell me, at least that’s what Tracey told me. I collected the water in a few jars and gave it to those things. I could go out in the day time because they wouldn’t harm me. After drinking the water, they turned back into the humans they were before. Some died before they could get cured. The world began to bloom again as I watered the earth with the healing waters…but there is something more going on out here. I hear the eerie noises in the night time but that’s another journey.

Ministering Mondays Vol 1

Loving the "Unloveable"

Many times we find ourselves lost in loving someone that doesn't seem to love us back. I wonder, is that how God feels? He gives so much and the best gift He gave was the life of his Son that we might live and yet we behave as if we don't have a Father. We do not return the same love which was given to us. Nevertheless, God still reaches out to us everyday to receive His love. No matter what we do or how we treat Him, He yet and still stretch His loving arms to hold us when we are in pain or in need. He never stops loving us, inspite of how we treat Him.

At times, we can be so callous and stingy with our love because of how someone treats and loves us and then call them and treat them as if they are unloveable. What if God did us that way? What if at this instant He stopped His love for us? What if He stopped comforting us? What if He pulled and snatched away His sweet Holy Spirit from us? What if He stopped blessing us? What if He stopped answering prayers? What if He stopped rescuing us when we are in serious trouble? What if? What would we do? And most importantly, what would be our end?

It's not easy loving someone that treats you bad especially when all you do is treat them good. However, we have to look at this way. Just like God knows your weaknesses, the devil does too. You want to know how? Good and I'm going to tell you. It's because we show our weaknesses to him everyday. It's in what we say, how we react and the way we move. Once we show him that, then he puts his plans together and his demons in place. Then they go to work on our weaknesses. All it is, is the spirit working in that "unloveable" person to get us to subcomb to our weaknesses once again. They don't give up. They push and they push hard and will continue to until we conquer the spirit.

We have to decide to conquer the spirit at all cost and do our best not to become entangled again with the weakness. We cannot do it alone. We HAVE to enlist the help and assistant of the Holy Ghost. With the Holy Ghost and the Heavenly Host on our side, we can overcome ALL things in Christ Jesus.

So, remember, the "unloveable" is very much loveable. We just have to love them enough to get past our own selfish emotions and win their soul. That's what it's all about anyway.

Whimsical Writing Wednesdays Vol 1

Gazing insight into the day
Wondering what I'm going to say
How will I react?
What will I do?
Calling on Calgon to take me away
Leaning on my Savior to take me to another place
Let me escape in my mind
Put me in another place and or time
I see sun, moon, stars
And almond-filled chocolate bars
A beach with white sparkling sand
Laying right next to my man
The blue-green water glistens
And at night, to the waves I listen
This is just a moment in time for me to get away
Just so I can have the strength to face another day

You Really Want to be Called a Diva?

I don't believe that many do not really realize what a diva is and most of the time people don't want to work with someone that is a "diva". Let's break it down. Diva means prima donna, a popular female singer or a usually successful female performer or personality. Prima donna means a vain or undisciplined person who finds it difficult to work under direction or part of a team. Most of the time the people we call divas do not nor cannot sing, which raises a question. Why do we call ourselves, our daughters or someone else divas? What qualifies? I ask because by definition it can either be one or the other. I wouldn't want someone to call me a diva because it sounds good. Do we realize what we are speaking over ourselves and our daughters. We are saying, "My baby is a diva!" with all excitement but if we do it by definition we are also saying, "My baby is vain and undisciplined and cannot work under direction of someone else nor part of a team!" How does that sound? I know most would think that this maybe taking it too far but ask yourself this, is this how you want people to view you and your daughter or someone else you love? Is this how you view yourself? There are so many other things that you could call yourself and your daughter that would actually be more fitting and classy.
What is my point in saying all of this? Don't run up behind words because someone uses them and you think its cute. In the end you will find out that some of the words hurts you and to others really isn't cute at all.

Is It Better to be Quiet?

Often times I wonder if it's better to be quiet or be bold;
Whether to be hot or cold
Or to keep it in...leaving your feelings on hold.
Tell me
Let me know
Do I hold it in
Or do I let it show
Either way, I better say something
Holding it in is worth nothing
Just like rain or shine
True feelings will show
Holding it in
Is an absolute NO!
But there is a way about doing it too
No need to become belligerent; showing the size of your shoe
Instead show the size of God's heart
Saying how you feel without ripping someone apart
Being quiet becomes a ticking bomb
Ready to show somebody the inside of your palm
Quietness is only a virtue for so long
Then wear your friends out with them same sad songs
Speak...but with dignity and class
Let not ignorance be bliss; but let your character last!

Zombie Insurance??? Is this a hoax???

I have heard, read and seen Face Book posts about being prepared to fight an invasion of zombies. I've looked at the list of things one would need. If this is a real thing why wouldn't the list comprise itself of weapons and ammo? Personally, I wouldn't rid myself of the things on the list to have if in fact a zombie does approach me (lol) however I would add a few items, such as, Blue Ray gun, a Browning or RPG-7 and that's just to name a few (Modern Warfare weapons). I am literally laughing my butt off about this. They can't be serious! ZOMBIE INSURANCE??? Oh my gosh! Who sits around and come up with these ideas? What kind of world are we living in when we let video games become a part of the real world? I want to hear from you. What do you think about this phenomenon?

GPS System for Teen Drivers

I was listening to my favorite regular morning radio show this morning and they posed a question, "Teens better be careful now that a new tracking device is being offered . It's a GPS that allows parents to keep tabs on every place their kids go and even makes it known if the young drivers exceed the speed limit._____ Parents would you be for the GPS tracking device or is it being too over protective ( lack of trust )?"

I listened to what the hosts had to say and some of the callers because everyone has their opinions that they are entitled to, however, I strongly disagree with some of the responses. One gentlemen called in and said that he is a young parent and if you are supposed to be a Christian and you trust the Lord then do that. Then hosts of the show was like, "Why use a technical device to trust your kids?"

As I thought about what was being said, the more this blog was readily on my mind. I have to say to the guy who called in, live a little. When you have parented for some time then come and talk to me. I'm not trying to make this personal because at one time in my life I would have agreed with them but life with a teenager has taught me some things. Do I agree with the GPS system? Yes ma'am, sir, I do! Yes, we teach our children how to live in the Lord. Yes, we do it with the help of the Lord...everyday. Yes, I do believe in the scripture that was used famously this morning, "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it." Prov 22:6 However, let's keep it in it's context. Our children are in training until they leave our house. It's all about how you look at something. I don't think it's being over protective, although there are some parents that may apply to but it's teaching them to be honest. If you say you are going to be somewhere then be there. God gives us wisdom and we have to use it. I do agree on one level with them about the trust issue but it's not about using a technical device to trust our children. If there is a trust issue with that child then I believe the parent has every right to put a GPS system on their vehicle, in which, they are probably using the parent's vehicle anyway.

If one has a child that is not trouble to them, then praise God but don't judge another parent's way of doing things because you DON'T have that same struggle. And to add to that, the parents with young children, I'd suggest the same thing because raising an elementary verses a teen are two TOTALLY different situations. It's nowhere near the same thing. If you haven't experienced it then keep on living.

Trail Blazers

Trail Blazers

It’s time to be set ablaze for the Lord. It’s time to give Him our all. It’s time to
be about our Father’s business. We have slacked and sulked long enough. It’s time
to FAITH HARD or GO HOME! It seems as though the trails that we are leaving behind are no
longer blazing. We have generations coming behind us therefore we must do what we have
to do in order to leave this trail blazing. Can you imagine a generation not
knowing God? Do you know what happens to a generation when they don’t know God?
Captivity, bondage and slavery happens. In Exodus 1:6 says, “And Joseph died,
and all his brethren, and all that generation.” An entire generation died, no
one to talk about who God is and how to live upright before Him. Verse 7 and 8
says, “And the children of Israel were fruitful, and increased abundantly, and
multiplied, and waxed exceeding mighty; and the land was filled with them. Now
there arose up a new king over Egypt, which knew not Joseph.” As long as
someone knew who Joseph was and his God, the children of Israel were good but
as soon as he died and another king took his place that didn’t know Joseph,
something terrible happened. Verse 11 says, “Therefore they did set over them
taskmasters to afflict them with their burdens. And they built for Pharaoh treasure
cities, Pithom and Raames.” They enslaved the next generation and killed off
half of them as toddlers and babies. We MUST leave a blazed trail for this next
generation! My question to you is; how are you going TRAIL BLAZE our next
generation?

Grant Proposal

Grant Proposal
Ever since I heard the preacher Kenny Grant say, “You do the minimum and let God do his
maximum and together forms the miracle” it’s been on my mind and I can’t forget it. In
prayer today, the Holy Spirit brought it back up and gave me this revelation. This
is concerning business strictly. It can be used for any part of life but He
brought it up when I was praying for my business. He said, “It’s like a grant
proposal. Sometimes the grantor will ask for the grantee to put up a certain
amount of money and then they will match it. That is what this means. We are to
do the work and do it to the best of our ability. Once we do that, it’s then we
can stand and watch the salvation of the Lord. It’s when we don’t give it our
all then expect for God to bring “salvation” to it that we fail. It’s time for
us to do more…not from what everyone is teaching but from what the Holy Spirit
teaches. I have finally enlisted a business coach and he is the best around.
Better yet, he’s free. You don’t have to use up gas to get to him nor do you
have to wait for him to call you back…maybe sometimes but very seldom. I
have to share him with you. His name is H.G. for Holy Ghost. He teaches me all
things and brings all things back to my remembrance (John 16:9). He will give
you your own secret to success but the key is, you have to trust what He’s
telling you. He will give you who to talk to and where to go. God is willing to
GRANT your PROPOSAL but you have to at least do the minimum. Be blessed.

The Extended Version

I continue to hear "The Extended Version" and I ask the Father, "What does that mean?" He then says, "Just write and let Me lead you." So as He leads me "the extended version" will be explained. He has led me to read the third chapter in I John which is very enlightening and brings it all together. I admonish you to read I John after you read this. The first verse was the eye catcher. I caught the vision right off the back. "Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not."

V.4, "Whoseoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law."
V.7, "Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous."
V.9, "Whosover is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin because he is born of God."
V.14, "We know that the we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death."
V.18, "My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth."

Half of the church are standard versions but God wants us to become "The Extended Version". "The Extended Version" is an "Extension" of Him. As stated in verse nine, we are born of God and in verse one, we are called the sons of God; we are "The Extended Version". Standard means a rule or model that is used to judge or measure how good something is. Extend means to make something longer or bigger; to stretch out to the fullest length; to offer and to exert to full capacity.
When we think of an extended version; we think of software, warranties, games, etc. When companies offer an extended version they persuaded us that it's a better product than the standard version they sold us (which usually is). "The Extended Version" is made to offer more; an extension of the standard. When looking at the options given we find that the extended version is better but it also costs more than the standard version.
Love is a crucial part of this extended version. Ninety percent of us love on condition. Conditional love is the standardized version. Agape love is "The Extended Version". Agape love causes us to love at our fullest capacity. It causes love in us to be stretched to it's fullest length. Many of us are giving a standardized love, a love that everyone understands, even the world understands this love because it's the love they give. But "The Extended Version" is a love that no one understands nor is it anything anyone is able to comprehend. Many don't understand nor accept the kind of love that Jesus gave because His love is the love that caused Him to be stretched to His fullest length (His arms stretched wide) so much so that he yelled, "Father, forgive them for they know not what they do." He yelled forgiveness but we yell "Forget this, it ain't worth it," or "I'm through." What if Jesus yelled that instead? Where would we be? We would still be under man's standard love versus God's agape love (extended version).
The world expects standard love. They are used to it and it's what they give in return but what they don't expect is "The Extended Version" of love. We don't expect for people to love us when we've messed up. Sometimes it's hard for us to love ourselves. If we  would allow for Christ's love to dwell in us instead of our own "The Extended Version" wouldn't be as hard. Side note (Prov 13:15, "...the ways of a transgressor are hard." When we decide not to love we transgress the law of grace and that's what makes it hard.)

LET'S BECOME "THE EXTENDED VERSION"!

Commit This to Memory!

Romans 4:17
v.17 (as it is written, “I have made you a father of many nations”) in the presence of Him who believed – God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did.

Today I am doing something a little different. I believe that we all can receive the word in faith but if we don’t know certain scriptures that pertain to our situation it can make it a little difficult. It is hard to stand on the something when you don’t know what you are standing on. Think about it, if an acrobat came to you and was telling you about how they walked, jumped, and ran on the very thin balancing beam and asked you to get on there, would you? No you wouldn’t, because no matter how excited they were, you couldn’t trust it because you had not experienced it for yourself. Those acrobats know the tricks of the trade. They have practiced continually. They know what will make them fall and what will make them walk across the beam successfully. It is the same with the word of God. Well here are some scriptures to overcome some of your battles.

                                                              ON FAITH:
I have set the Lord always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. Psalm 16:8

Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in Him; and He shall bring it to pass. Psalm 37:5

The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God stands forever. Isaiah 40:8

So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth; it shall not return unto me void, but is shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. Isaiah 55:11

For I am watching over My word to perform it. Jeremiah 1:12

For I am the Lord: I will speak, and the word that I shall speak shall come to pass; Ezekiel 12:25

For no promise of God can fail to be fulfilled. Luke 1:37

ON FINANCES:
Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of the Lord thy God which he hath given thee. Deuteronomy 16:17

Believe in the Lord your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper. II Chronicles 20:20b

Your beginnings will seem humble, so prosperous will your future be. Job 8:7

If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in contentment. Job 36:11

If riches increase, set not your heart upon them. Psalm 62:10b

Give unto the Lord the glory due unto His name: bring an offering, and come into His courts. Psalm 96:8

Here are just a few scriptures and all this week will be scriptures pertaining to different situations. Be blessed today and remember commit this to memory. (Commit your works to the Lord, and your thoughts will be established. Proverbs 16:3)

Matthew 14:29
"And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus"

Prayer
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus bless those who have connected here and need to walk on the water. You have designed for us to be able to walk on the water and to come to You. Help us to see you in everything. Help us to include you in everything. Help us to seek You in everything. We need Your help because we cannot walk on the water on our own. Hold us by the right hand. Lead us to You. Show us every step of the way. As we walk on the water, cause us not to be afraid ans you said for us not to be afraid. Cause us to be obedient to You when you say "come". Cause us to follow every instruction. Cause us to cast fear to the side and help us to move forward. Don't let us sink and don't let us drown. Give us the strength to get out of the boat in the name of Jesus. Let us not worry about what people say nor what they do. Just cause US to get out of the boat in the name of Jesus. Father, we humble ourselves before You asking for Your help to carry out Your will for our lives; all inclusive. Truly, we give You the praise right now and praise You even more when we Walk On Water, in Jesus name we pray. Amen

Sermon
This is going to be short and sweet. As I received this word this morning while watching Bishop Paul Morton on youtube talking about getting out of the boat, God began to minister to me with more revelation. I've read this story many times and every time there is a new revelation. What most people do not preach about concerning this story is that there was a reason, a purpose for Peter's walking on the water. He wanted to see if it was really Jesus. Previously, they said it was a ghost and was frightened but Jesus told them who he was and not to be afraid. Once that was said, Peter questioned Jesus. He said, "Lord, if it is you then bid me to come." Jesus proved himself to Peter. Jesus had to prove who he was. Mere words wasn't enough for Peter. He wanted to know, that he knew. Jesus didn't argue with him nor did he accuse Peter of lack of faith. Jesus saw this as an opportunity to prove who He is while encouraging Peter to do something that he'd never done. HALLELUJAH! I hope you got that because I sure did! Don't let anyone make you feel guilty about asking God or even Jesus himself  about proving who He is because He sees opportunity. Any time Jesus sees an opportunity to make His father's name great in the earth, He does it without question.
There has to be a reason for your "coming". There has to be a purpose for you to walk on water. What is your purpose? What is your reason? As we see, Jesus told Peter...he told Peter to do it. God has given you instruction. Have you asked Him to reaffirm that it was Him? Has He told you to come and you are still in the boat? What will it take for you to get out of the boat? Will it take a boisterous storm? God forbid! The only time Jesus questioned Peter's faith in this scenario was when Peter began to sink because of the boisterous wind. That's not the time to sink. That's the time to believe in the One who proved Himself to you just moments before. In closing, Jesus has bid you to come...will you?
If you have said yes, then sign your name below or Facebook me your name and I will put it on here. All who is on here will be held accountable to their yes. God is going to manifest but our "yes" has to be manifested first. This will be the prayer page. If you have a prayer that you want to pray or a word (given by God) that you want to give then either Facebook or email me and I will place it on this page. We want to hear testimonies, hard times, struggles, and good reports. That is the only way we are going  to hold each other accountable. If one is having a hard time or a struggle another one can pray and give encouragement.
Have a blessed day in the Lord!
